2008 Season / Great Start…
| January 28 / Deserved Break… Todd will be training for the next couple of weeks and enjoy some time off with his family and friends in Stamford, CT. In February, Todd will play two events in Texas and then in Canada. The goal is to make the most out of the indoor season and Todd is definitelly making it happen.More to come.We will keep you posted on Todd’s next steps…. |
| January 21 – 27 / Boca Raton, Florida / U.S.A. F3 Future Todd entered this tournament as a wild card, thanks to his great results in North Miami Beach last week.Todd had a great 1st Round winn against former Duke player Michael Yani (ATP #518). Todd lost in the 2nd Round of the tournament against more experienced U.S. player Alberto Francis (ATP #326).Overall, Todd’s achievements in the past 3 events were an excellent start for the 2008 season.More to come….Stay tuned and support Todd by posting your comments… Main Draw Results: |
| January 14 – 20 / North Miami Beach / U.S.A. F2 Future Todd played fantastic tennis this week. He reached the finals after winning 4 matches in the main draw against seasoned ATP players. Main Draw Results: Great effort by Todd this week. It was an amazing battle in the finals where both players were pushing each other to the limits. At the end Todd’s oponent won 6:2 in the third. | January 7-13 / Wesley Chapel, Florida / U.S.A F1 Future Todd started the 2008 season by reaching Quarterfinals. Todd qualified from “128 Player Draw” and then he took care of business in the Main Draw. Main Draw Results: 1st Round: Todd vs. Stanislav Chramosta (ATP #463) 4:6 6:3 6:1. 2nd Round: Todd vs. Toshihide Matsui (ATP #455) 6:3 6:3. Quarterfinals: Todd vs. Somdev Dev Varman (ATP# 1037) 6:7 1:6.Somdev Dev Varman is the 2007 NCAA National Champion. He was ranked #1 in the NCAA’s.Todd and Somdev have played close matches during their collegiate careers. This was a great “warm up” for the upcoming tournament in North Miami Beach. |

Great win against Berankis in Miami! Beating the world’s Junior #1 is an excellent result…I am sure it was a battle…
